Joe Quane

 
 

Joe Quane brings 25 years of experience in the cable television business and a background of 30 years of professional Sales in high technology. He has been most recently serving in a sales consultant role as President of Quane and Associates.

Prior to starting Quane and Associates, he had a 23 year career with Scientific-Atlanta / Cisco from where he retired in November of ’07. He served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts his final 8 years.  Prior to that, he has held positions starting as an Account Manager and being promoted throughout his career to Senior Account Manager, District Account Manager, Western Regional Manager and National Account Director before his promotion to Vice President.


Joe has extensive experience wJith direct selling, sales channel coordination and sales management with an excellent history of strong senior level customer relationships and a track record of high achieving sales teams. He qualified 17 times for the company’s coveted Circle of Excellence Award in the 19 year history of the program.


During his career at Scientific-Atlanta the company grew from $200M in annual revenues to over $2.2B at the time of the ’06 Cisco acquisition of which his sales team represented over 40% of the company’s revenue.

In addition to numerous Professional Training programs, he has both a BS and MS in Secondary Education and had a successful 10 year career as a High School Teacher and Basketball Coach before entering the Business world.


Joe and his wife, Sharon, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in August of ’09 and have two adult sons, Matthew and Adam.
